Hieronymus String Quartet
Haydn - Quartet in F Op.76 no
Debussy - Quartet no.10 in G minor
Beethoven - Quartet No. 16 in F Op.135
The Hieronymus quartet members hail from Canada, South Korea, the United States and France, formed in 2011 at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where they receive regular coachings from Alasdair Tait and members of the Endellion and Belcea quartets.
The quartet draws on the contrasted musical backgrounds of its members as well as their wealth of experience in various other ensembles to bring to life the rich and complex string quartet repertoire in its own unique voice.
In 2012 they were selected to represent the Guildhall at the Cavatina Intercollegiate String Quartet Prize, where they took both the main prize and the audience prize.
Recent performances have included recitals at the City of London Festival, the Charter House, and King’s Place.
