Metamorphoses Trio

Metamorphoses are an exciting trio, formed in 2016 by Jean Johnson (clarinet), Roeland Jagers (viola) and Ilona Timchenko (piano). Immediately they received invitations from The Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Spain.

Although the basis for this trio is obviously Mozart’s Kegelstatt Trio, the trio are also strong advocates of contemporary music and this year will see the commission of a new work, written for them specially.
